Wheetago War VR is an immersive experience based on the forthcoming stop motion animation film by Spotted Fawn Productions, directed by Amanda Strong, based on the original story by Richard Van Camp. Wheetago War VR was produced in partnership with Spotted Fawn Productions and Basically Good Media Lab (BGML) at Emily Carr University. Wheetago War VR brings the viewer into an immersive world: post-apocalyptic land Fort Smith in the Northwest Territories. Magic has come back, the sun has twinned, and nothing will ever be the same. The viewer is encouraged to follow Dove, a powerful genderfluid Dene, who is a water- and land- protector. They are here to return medicine to the land, amidst a war with the Wheetago Army.
