Installations

Sets and puppets from our films have been shared in galleries across Canada.  The stories they told on screen are now both physical and social realities.

Stop motion is a special medium that brings both animate and inanimate objects in our physical world to life. It plays a central role in SFP’s films and installations.

Our installations have been exhibited in numerous galleries across Turtle Island, including the Museum of Anthropology, the Evergreen Cultural Centre, the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Art Gallery of Swift Current, the Oxygen Art Centre, the Grunt Gallery and the Two Rivers Gallery. Community-building workshops and educational talks accompany these installations to deepen the public’s engagement with the work
